Chair's Message
Welcome to the faculty development page for the department of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Sciences at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine and Magee Women’s Hospital of the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center.
We are invested in the careers of our faculty and are proud of the many accomplishments of our faculty in all of our missions – education, research, community service and of course clinical care. There are many resources within the department and the School of Medicine to help you achieve your career goals and we have outlined or linked some of these on these pages. Your division directors are always available as resources, as are our vice chairs who have mentorship roles – Gabriella Gosman, Sharon Hillier and Isabelle Wilkins. We encourage you to identify mentors and find time to meet with one of our vice chairs about your career, promotion and to help problem solve should the need arise.
