Meet Our Faculty and Fellows
 

The Division of Gynecologic Specialties is dedicated to providing outstanding evidence-based and compassionate gynecologic care to women across their lifespan. We are at the forefront of innovative and high quality reproductive health care. Building on our extensive experience and research, our team of physicians and advanced care practitioners offers consultation, evaluation and management for women with complex gynecologic and reproductive healthcare needs. Our physicians are nationally and internationally recognized experts in:

  • Minimally-invasive gynecologic surgery
  • Menopause/Midlife Health
  • Family planning
  • Reproductive infectious diseases/sexually transmitted diseases/vaginal infections
  • Vulvar diseases
  • Human papillomavirus infection/ Cervical dysplasia
  • Pediatric and adolescent gynecology

Our physicians are leading clinical and translational research to better understand and to improve the reproductive health of women.  Areas of research include prevention and treatment of STDs and HIV, innovative family planning technologies, novel treatments for fibroids, endometriosis and pelvic pain, minimally-invasive surgical techniques, vaginal infections, cervical dysplasia and other HPV-related disorders, patient-provider communications, and health services research.

The Division is committed to training the future leaders in women’s health, playing key roles in educating students, residents, fellows and other students of the health sciences at the University of Pittsburgh.

Our physicians and certified registered nurse practitioners are based at Magee-Womens Hospital of UPMC and also welcome patients at offices across the greater Pittsburgh region.
