University of Pittsburgh Urogynecologist: Assistant / Associate Professor

The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology and Reproductive Sciences is recruiting for subspecialists in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery to fill two full-time positions at the assistant and the associate professor level. We are seeking confident clinicians and surgeons who have a passion for education and are supportive of our research mission. The responsibilities of the positions include delivery of inpatient and outpatient care, education of FPMRS fellows, Ob/Gyn residents and medical students, and participation in the gynecology night-call pool. Travel to satellite offices is expected. The faculty provide consultation services at eight sites of the Women’s Center for Bladder and Pelvic Health and operate at four UPMC hospitals designated in the women’s health service line. A full-time position is currently targeted for UPMC Hamot in Erie, PA which is the second busiest campus for FPMRS faculty. Successful candidates must be BC/BE in Obstetrics and Gynecology and BC/BE in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery. They will hold joint appointments in the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine and the UPP faculty practice. MD/DO required. Employer will assist with relocation costs. Salary is commensurate with experience and job description.
